~ This Weekend ~

Let's see - we had a very eventful weekend! Friday set the tone for the weekend ahead. Since we had no plans for the day, I decided to take Steven on his first bike ride! Mark hooked up the trailer Thursday night and I got ready to pack the kids up for a ride. Nana joined us and TT decided to ride on the back of her bike. She is getting so big that her feet hang over the edges - it will not be long until she will have to just ride on her own princess bike.  We stopped off at the park to play and then headed home for lunch and nap.  That evening we went to dinner at Oliver Garden! Yum!  Christine got her specialty - spaghetti with just butter. She lvoes the bread sticks there too!  We thanked Nana and Papa for watching the kids with Yankees tickets and a room in Anaheim!

Saturday was Ethan's 1st birthday! We had so much fun!  Christine had a beautiful dress on but had a small accident when we first got to the party - so we had to change to our backup sweats and borrow one of Ava's shirts. But Christine LOVED the bounce house and the pinata! Her friends throw the best parties!

  • Sunday we went Ice Skating! Christine was SO excited to get ready and head to the Polar Ice Arena.  When we got there she was still very excited... it was not until she put her feet on the ice that she got scared. That was the last time her skates touched down.  Mark skated for a bit holding her (until they told him he wasn't aloud to do that) and her good friends Dylan and Cam sat on the ice with her to try to show her there was nothing to be afraid of (such sweet boys)! When we were getting ready to leave she told Mark and I that she would be better at skating when she was a little bit older,  "maybe in 2 months when I turn 3" she said.

Mommy's craft corner is now complete - Bow Organizer, Silhouette Cameo and Sewing Machine. Now it is time for fun! So far I made my own bow board and a bunch of bows. I downloaded the Came software and hope to design St. Patty shirts for this coming weekend.  Crafting is very fun for Mommy!
