Grandma Kirsch came to visit toward the end of October. Of course she arrived the day that TT came down with Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease. Her symptoms were not very apparent - just a slight fever and a single sore in her mouth, but she really wasn't herself. It was almost a week until she was better.

Once Christine was feeling better (you would have hardly knew she was sick to begin with) we thought we could take a trip to the park. That way, she wouldn't be exposing too many other kiddos to her germs in confinement.

We also went to the Phoenix Children's Museum while Mark's Mom was in town. Christine LOVES it there! She went grocery shopping with Grandma Kirsch, Cooked and Ran through the Noodle Forest!

The highlight of Grandma's visit for Christine was an EARLY CHRISTMAS! What a great idea Grandma had. This way, Christine could celebrate and Grandma got to see her face and enjoyment when she opened up her gifts! She was SO excited!
Right before we took Grandma to the airport, we attempted one last time to get a photo of both the babies... Still not that successful:
But at least no one is crying and Grandma is happy:
Christine stayed healthy just long enough to see Grandma off. Once she got over the HFM, she got croup! That was worse though. She still did very little complaining, but she sounded like a puppy dog barking when she coughed and her fever was up to 103.4 at one point. The pediatrician suggested we bring her to Good Night Pediatrics - so we did. They gave her a breathing treatment, steroids, an antibiotic for an ear infection and benadryl. She slept like a champ the whole week she was sick and never complained. What a little Angel.
