~ Winnie the Pooh, Baby Deevens Room and Chickenpox ~

On Friday afternoon Christine got a fever or 100.5. When the tylenol wore off it was at 100.6. It made me question the "bug bites" she had on her (4 on her leg, 2 on her shoulder, 2 on her ankles)... I believe this may have been a case of breakthrough Chickenpox. So we have decided to stay home and away from her little friends while they heal up (there is one left tonight that will hopefully be gone in the morning).

Staying home put a slight damper on the weekend, but we decided it was a good time to get Baby Stevens room ready. We purchased a cute FAO schwartz set at Babies R Us. Christine was very excited to help pull things together! She is going to be such a good big sister. I can't believe he is due in 7 weeks!

Monday afternoon Nana, Papa and Mommy took TT to see Winnie the Pooh. This was her second trip to the movies, the first rather unsuccesful, but still fun was a free early morning movie with her friend Gracie. This time Christine sat through the majority of the movie (less 4 trips to the bathroom in which she went twice). She seemed to enjoy it, but was certainly ready to leave when it was over. She enjoyed the lobby and car game.

Potty training is improving day by day, except for her fear of pooping on the potty which has resulted in a few accidents. Only one accident in the last week (while watching tv). The rest of the times we have made it, including multiple trips to public restrooms. TT will tell you now that when she goes poo poo on the potty she will get a skateboard. Its what she asked us for! Lol :)

We started a new star chart today in which she gets stars for going potty, brushing her teeth, getting dressed, sleeping in her own bed (after a request last night to come in our bed), etc. She seems very excited about the stars, so it should help us accomplish some of the tasks in a more efficient, happier manner! Fingers crossed!
