~ Love is in the air ~

I have always loved valentine’s day.  Not as much as Christmas, but it has still been a favorite holiday.  This year was even more exciting.  Last year, Christine was a little too young to enjoy the festivities.  But now, she really understands the parties, cookie decorating and gifts!  Mark was really excited too!  He couldn’t even wait until Valentine’s day to give TT her card, teddy bear and candies! Saturday morning he had it all set up for when she woke up.  She loves “presents”!  Of course, letting her open candy before breakfast wasn’t the best idea J

After breakfast on Saturday we went to a park in Goodyear and celebrated Valentine’s Day with some close friends.  Vaughn, Ryder, Jayce, Addi and Michael (& Baby) were all present.  After some play time on the swing set, the kids exchanged valentines and decorated sugar cookies!  Christine looked adorable as usual, in her little Red Tutu!

On Valentine’s Day, Christine hosted a pajama party at our house.  Some of her friends were not feeling well and didn’t make it.  Gracie, Stephen (& Baby Sonja), Ava and Vaughn all attended.  We had a yummy breakfast (egg casserole, bacon, fruit salad, muffins and cup cakes) and then played in Christine’s playroom for a bit.  After that, we all decorated cookies and exchanged valentines!

Because we were unable to see Christine’s main squeeze, Liam, during valentine’s day weekend, we exchanged valentines and hugs with him the following week.
