~ Amazement ~

Oh the amazement of listening to our angels heart beat!  The first time at the Dr. we couldn't yet hear a heart beat, but they did give us a few pictures.  On 11/17/08 our baby was about 3.5 inches long.  I wrote an email to my BFF Angelia saying how that "reminds me of a baby kitten (the size)".  Up until the ultrasound where we found out Christine was a girl, I just had a feeling.  The first purchase I made was a little grey and pink pair of puma sneakers.  I figured, if the baby was not a girl, I could return them or give them to a friend, but they were just too cute to pass up.

December 29th, 2008 was the ultrasound where we found out we were having a little princess.  Nana came with Daddy and I for the test.  It is always so nice to see the baby is doing well!  The technician told us everything looks perfect and when she told us all we were having a little girl we cried tears of joy!  Yay! We are having a little princess.


After the ultrasound, we met Uncle Jason and Papa at the mall for lunch.  I had prepared two gifts (one full of little boy clothes and one full of little girl clothes).  I let Papa open the gift with the little girl clothes and we all celebrated our princesses arrival!
